FLEECE Exhibition

From the 11-14th July 2013 BA Photography graduates from the Arts University Bournemouth, including myself, exhibited our work at the Bargehouse, Oxo Tower Wharf, along London's Southbank.

Opting against the usual Brick Lane Free Range student showcases, we decided to find our own exhibition space. The Bargehouse allowed us to have 3 floors, over 10 rooms, full of photography, projections, screen-based work and sculptures in the best location to be situated at over a weekend of London sunshine. The ground floor allowed for a large entrance and a bar, that overflowed at Thursday's private view.

"Fleece presents work by graduating students of the BA (Hons) Photography programme at the Arts University Bournemouth. Established more than a decade ago, this programme continues to emphasize ambitious experimentation, informed by intensive research. Deliberately, wilfully, there is a refusal to establish a brand or house style. Nevertheless, one thing shared and ongoing is a desire to re-think photography" David Evans, Senior Lecturer
